For 3 1/2 years, I have had this quake wager with geologist Jim Berkland--the man who predicted the World Series Quake...for the next 6.0 in CA. He chose SoCal, me NorCal--divided at 37 latitude. I even pinpointed Petrolia/Eureka in my forecast and held my ground through these years.
I just got off the phone with him and yes, I did succeed with my prediction. I have this documented on Coast to Coast on Jan. 1; available to see in the Recap; in a national magazine Jan. issue Oracle-20-20 (page 32); Capt. Jack's paranormal program on New Year's Eve; on my site www.earthquakeepi-center.com for the wager.
The SF wayward sea lions were a big tip off as well as my seismically sensitive critters the past few days--which is documented on EEC. But I knew all along NorCal, Offshore near Eureka/Petrolia was going to be where it would hit. See below links.
